Rotor debarker Type HRE

The Hombak rotor debarker can be used in any situation where reliably and cleanly debarked logs are needed.

A narrow design keeps the logs parallel to one another in the machine. The modular assembly provides utmost flexibility for a log infeed that meets customers' needs.

Rotors arrayed parallel to the conveying direction set the log in rotation. Debarking occurs by means of the rotors and through the interplay of the logs themselves. Bark is discharged downward, between the rotors.

The flow of material is easy to control with the aid of the vertically manoeuvrable closing gate. This can be used not only to improve the degree of debarking by increasing the dwell time; it can also be adjusted without any problem or halted altogether.

The HOMBAK Rotor debarker type HRE has a modular design and optionally fitted with 2 or 3 rotors per section. The number of sections used is tailored to the type of timber to be debarked and to the required throughput performance.
